I brought my laptop along in the pessimistic thought of not being able to use the wireless internet service. Ha, but it totally worked! 9:06 PM Here's a quick update. I just started on the feature article that Mrs Syngle assigned. I had some trouble coming up with a good heading that is really appealing and smart. I have no idea how the newspaper editors come up with such humorous headings. Anyway, I hope I'll get more inspirations on that. I'm gathering a list of so-called "cool" gadgets to own. What do you think is a "must-have" and what do you want the most? I have too many things that I want. First, the iPod and the iPhone. And then the Mac. Sunday, September 14, 2008 I've been especially lazy these few days. Thus, I've been like totally reluctant to post this. Anyway, some updates. 1) Mr Richardson returned my essay to me and said that it isn't sticking to the topic. :( How dare he say that. No teacher has ever said that to me. :( Hate him. 2) We are currently doing a radio advertisement and poster to advertise ourselves in a way that we want others to see us. That is, to promote ourselves as the way we want us to turn out to be like. I have no idea what my ultimate goal or dream is. So, I just said that I want to be a famous interior designer. It is not wrong, but not yet totally true either; since I have wanting to be like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs. At this stage, I guess everything is interesting to me. Once, I aspired to be a CSI. Can you believe it? I mean, just because I was totally into the TV crime series and that changed my aspirations. Luckily, I was able to realise how real CSIs must face disgusting things like bodies and arms and legs. And that ended my dream of being a righteous crime scene inverstigator. 3) Our next assignment for English is to write a feature article on how technology is good/bad for teens. I plan to argue that technology is definitely more useful than harmful to teens since I'm like, totally addicted to it. That's all. Will update once new things happen. Happy Moomcake Festival! Tuesday, September 9, 2008 I just got back my English and Japanese test results. Guess what? I got A for both subjects! :) Mrs Syngle, my English teacher, wanted to read my story to the class. But I was like, so reluctant, though I knew that it was useless. Boy, was I wrong! She said it was ok and didn't read it in the end. So I guess this is what they call democracy. :) xoxo,

Sunday, September 7, 2008 Ha ha, I have to clear the misunderstandings that I'm rushing my blog posts. No, I'm not. I'm just feeling happy because I finally finished the short story! :) This may sound impressive, but once you know that this piece of assignment was assigned FOUR weeks ago, it is not so impressive. That's why I feel sooo happy and relieved that I finally got it over. Just got back my Maths paper. Got 2 questions wrong. :( Hate that. Still 2 weeks to go until holidays!! I can hardly wait. My mood is getting better everyday because exams and assignments are gradually over. By the way, I just love Google Chrome. It's so fast and simple. You just have to try it. :) xoxo,

Tuesday, September 2, 2008 I finally finished the Japanese reading and writing tests today! To my surprise, I found it pretty easy as the tested content were all what we have learnt. I'm, like, so over the moon now! :) Unfortunately, Mrs Abercrombie said that if we want to take Japanese in Year 10, we've got to choose the optional unit for Japanese 2nd semester next year, and that means, I've got to give up business!! :( It's giving me a headache. I took a look at Isabella's Geography textboook during lunch today and got a shock. The Geography here is even harder than Singapore's! Believe me, I nearly fell off from the chair. I don't even recognise half of the terms in the textbook. As a result of this, I've decided to choose History for next year's humanities. Oh yeah, we had Media again today. Mrs Dorge was calling out names of those who had submitted the assignment, but I was like, dreaming and not paying attention and thought she was calling the role. So, stupidly, I answered with a loud "here!" when she called on me. Everybody was like, what the hell is she saying? I soon realised my mistake and quickly shrank as much as I could. Gosh, that was embarrassing. xoxo,
